2. Information we collect

Project details you submit: job type, ZIP code, and any notes you add.

Contact information: name, email address, and phone number when you unlock or send a quote.

Contractor account information: business name, service territory, published pricing, and billing details processed by our payment provider.

Basic usage data: pages viewed and device/browser information, used to keep the site working and improve it.

3. How we use it

To generate your estimate and deliver your request to the one pro who holds your territory.

To email or text you a copy of your quote when you ask us to.

To operate contractor accounts, subscriptions, and support.

To detect abuse and fraudulent requests.

4. Who we share it with

The single contractor matched to your ZIP code. If no contractor holds your area, your request is retained until one is available, and we will tell you before sharing it.

Service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — hosting, database, email/SMS delivery, and payment processing — under contract and only for those purposes.

Legal authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lead-generation networks.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session, plus limited analytics to understand traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, though signed-in features may stop working.

6. Data retention and security

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to support the homeowner and contractor relationship, then delete or anonymize them. Access to data is restricted and protected by row-level security in our database.

7. Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@handymanquote.com. You can opt out of quote texts and emails at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
