We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

2. What HandymanQuote.com is

HandymanQuote.com is a quoting and matching service. We display estimates that are either published by the independent contractor holding your territory or derived from national average price data when no contractor holds that territory.

We are not a contractor, do not perform work, and are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a pro.

3. Estimates are not binding quotes

Prices shown on the site are estimates based on the project details you provide. Final pricing is determined by your pro after assessing the job in person. Site conditions, materials, permits, and scope changes can change the price.

4. Homeowner responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate project and contact information, and to use the service only to request work you genuinely intend to have performed.

Any agreement, payment, warranty, or dispute regarding the work itself is between you and the contractor.

5. Contractor accounts and territories

Contractors subscribe to an exclusive territory for a recurring fee. Billing begins once your territory is approved. You may cancel at any time and keep the territory through the end of the paid period, or until your territory is removed for failing to meet our contractor standards.

Contractors are responsible for maintaining valid licensing and insurance where required, for the accuracy of their published pricing, and for responding to homeowner requests promptly.

We may suspend or remove a contractor for misrepresentation, repeated homeowner complaints, non-response, non-payment, or failure to maintain our contractor standards.

6. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute pricing data, submit false requests, attempt to bypass territory exclusivity, or use the site to send unsolicited marketing.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, HandymanQuote.com disclaims all warranties and is not liable for the workmanship, conduct, or omissions of any contractor, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
